Celebrating Our Women at SLO Naz Church

The women in our lives contribute so much to our families, friendships, and communities on the Central Coast.  We can often take for granted how much those we love do behind the scenes to make our lives better.  Once a year is hardly enough to say thank you! We recognize our women are deserving of celebration and support, and we are passionate about providing that!

At SLO Naz Church, we honor women by creating space to fellowship with other women and recognize that sometimes they also need time for themselves.  Our Women’s ministry here is run by women who understand the desire need to grow together in any and every stage of life!

There is a multitude of events for women to get involved within SLO, here at our church:

The Homeschool Coop is a place for moms and kids to connect with one another and meet other homeschooled parents and children in our area.  This provides a healthy space for kids to play, learn, and socialize with other kids in a safe environment.  In addition, parents get to socialize, connect and encourage one another along the journey of homeschooling their children.  

It’s important that kids get the opportunity to learn in a safe environment with other kids.  This group meets Thursdays from 12:30- 3:30 at SLO Naz Church.

The women’s ministry, in partnership with the kid’s ministry at SLO Naz Church, puts several events on with parents in mind that need time away from their children to reconnect with themselves, their friends, or their partner.

Our women’s camps are a great getaway idea for that perfect reset to connect with fellow Christians and recharge physically, mentally, and spiritually. Every year the Just Breathe Women’s Retreat does just that.  Going on May 20-22 of this year at Granite Ridge Christian Camp, women get to enjoy God’s Word together as they grow together.

If you need a breather more than once a year, try once a week!  Friday night “Parents Night Out” is a program for children every week from 6-8 pm for parents to have time to themselves.  Kids can enjoy a fun and energetic night while parents get their own time to do whatever they want, child-free.

Coming together as a Christian community of women in SLO is important to our church.  We celebrate the message of Christ and acknowledge that women understand where women are coming from in everyday life.  Sunday morning and mid-week Life Groups provide the community, growth, and study that further our faith.  There are several options to choose from to fit your availability in the week.  We hope to see you at one of our home or church groups in SLO!

Women have shaped and molded our church in San Luis Obispo.  We are thankful for the many years of service on the Central Coast and hope SLO Naz Church can serve you and your family now and in the future.
