Mathew 28:18 is the call to ministry that Church of the Nazarene adopts as its main mission. We are called to both reach people within our own city of San Luis Obispo but also support the ministries happening all around the world. We are part of the Church of the Nazarene, a family of 12,000 churches gathering in over 160 countries. With this we support both physically and financially to that very mission that God calls us to locally in SLO and around the world.
2023 Work and Witness Team
Our Work and Witness team just returned from Argentina where they help construct a new church building and worked with the children and families in the community. In addition, they provided funds for the purchase of fixtures and furnishings for the new building. SLONaz is currently planning additional Work and Witness ventures, including an up-coming trip to Cuba.
